Day 01

Airpot - Sigiriya or Habarana

Welcome and assistance on arrival by representative of Friendly Travels.

Transfer to Sigiriya or Habarana, check into hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 02

Sigiriya or Habarana - Anuradhapura - Sigiriya or Habarana

After breakfast, excursion to Anuradhapura, the first capital of Sri Lanka. A visit to Aukana Buddha, the most magnificent undamaged ancient image in the island.

stature’s proportions are so perfect, that a drop of rain water, which falls from the nose of the statue, is said to land exactly between the feet. Arrive in Anuradhapura and visit an archeological museum and the ruins of the ancient city with its palaces, gardens, ponds and dagobas. Proceed to Mihintale, the cradle of Buddhism and the great monastic complex. Return to hotel for dinner & overnight stay

Day 03

Habarana - Sigiriya - Dambulla - Kandy

After breakfast, leave for Kandy. A visit to Sigiriya, the massive rock in the green scrub jungle and the most memorable place forvisitors in Sri Lanka. A well-planned monastic complex surrounds the rock and includes caved temples, bathing pools, lovely ponds and gardens.

Visit the Rock Caved Temple in Dambulla. 5 grottoes at the summit of the rocky mountain contain the most outstanding collection of images of Buddha. Proceed to Kandy visiting a Spice Garden in Matale, where one can sample such scents and flavors as ginger, cinnamon, pepper, vanilla, cardamom etc. Arrive to Kandy, visit the Temple of the Tooth of Buddha and view the daily traditional rituals of the temple.

In the evening view a colorful cultural show, a beautiful expression of Kandyan art and an excellent opportunity to discover the different aspects of traditional Singhalese dances.

Day 04

Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, famous for its large collection of tropical & temperate flora. Visit a gemological museum to see the process of mining, cutting and polishing of gemstones. Visit woodcarving and batik manufacturing factories.

Thereafter proceed to Nuwara Eliya, the highest holiday resort on the island, and visit a Tea Estate to taste a cup of freshly brewed world famous “Ceylon Tea”. Arrive to Nuwara Eliya Eliya and check into hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05

Nuwara Eliya - Yala or Tissamaharama

After breakfast lever for Yala enjoying the scenic beauty of the Hill Country. Arrive to Yala, the oldest and the biggest National Park in Sri Lanka, and visit the park by jeep to see variety of birds, animals and reptiles.

Thereafter proceed to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 06

Yala or Tissamaharama - Bentota Beach

After breakfast, proceed to the beach resort of your choice visiting the “Blow Hole”, one of the six blowholes in the world, en-route.
